Manjore Dam - Manarbeda- Anugul- Odisha

Manjore Dam:

Manjore Dam
Manjore Dam is a reservoir scheme is constructed across river Manjore near village Manarbeda of Athamallick sub-division in Anugul District. The catchment area is 452.00 Sq. Kms. at reservoir site.

Extra Water Flowing Through Dam Gate
 It envisages construction of one 2050Mt long earth dam with a central spillway of 180M long and 6M high dyke near left abutment. There are two head regulators on either side of the river with a network of canal system to provide irrigation facility to 6090 Ha. during Kharif & 4335 Ha. during Rabi.

Dam Overview
This Dam built in year 2004, still 2014 it is not completely completed. The Dam surroundings is awesome and make this dam is perfect for a ideal picnic place.


How To Reach:
On National Highway 42, at Bamur Take road towards Kishore Nagar, Then on Kishore nagar take road towards Madhapur. On the way at near village Manarbeda, on right side you can see the Dam. It is 14kms from National Highway 42 at Bamur.
